Many visually impaired pedestrians testify to the importance of good lighting conditions. When planning a pedestrian pathway as part of a TCP, consideration should be given to avoiding trees and other objects that would cast a shadow and obstruct the light output. <br /> <br /> Temporary lighting should be considered for temporary covered pathways or in areas where the lack of additional lighting may present a safety concern.
